Holz ist ein technisch interessantes Baumaterial, das auch die Umwelt- und Klimabilanz der Bauwerke verbessert. Gleichzeitig erfordert der architektonische Trend zu filigranen Strukturen eine höhere Tragfähigkeit. Buchenstabschichtholz bietet hierfür Hand – das Resultat einer Zusammenarbeit von Forschenden der BFH und der Fagus Suisse SA.
