Small Inner Spaces sind eine Sammlung von Kompositionen und Performances, in deren Zentrum die Rauschfarbigkeit des Stimminstruments steht. Small Inner Spaces IV auskultiert das Stimminstrument, das Mikrophon wird zum Stethoskop. Ausgangsmaterial ist die Ruheatmung. Der in der Zeit gedehnte Atmungsprozess wird zu einer Rausch-Flächen-Komposition. Der Audiotrack der Atemgeräusche wird zur Vorlage einer graphischen Notation. Das Funkloch wird in einen Lungenraum, in eine riesige Atemturbine verwandelt. Small Inner Spaces IV beinhaltet eine neue Variante des Audioscorings, anstatt mit Stimmaufnahmen und Stimme, werden im Funkloch die Atemgeräusche mit Instrumenten umgesetzt.
