In der Schweiz gibt es fast 30'000 multinationale Unternehmen. Damit sich alle Mitarbeitenden verstehen, ist die Unternehmenssprache oftmals Englisch. Auf den ersten Blick scheint das unproblematisch, denn angestellt wird nur, wer genügend gut Englisch kann. Doch in der Praxis tun sich Gräben auf.
