German tractor manufacturers were also able to report high sales growth in 2022. However, the number of tractors produced did not grow to the same extent and new domestic registrations even fell. The state of the art and general trends outlined in last year's yearbook are still valid. Fendt and Valtra presented completely new series with the seventh generation 700 and the Q Series, respectively. CNH, too, is getting in on the action with new models in the upper 6-cylinder medium class, which is popular among contractors and larger farms. There were also many innovations in the field of special tractors, an important "driver" here was partly still the EU emission stage V. Alternative fuels and drive concepts were again much-discussed topics. Rigitrac is now producing the battery-electric SKE 40 tractor in small series, Monarch Tractor announced the series launch of the MK-V 4 for early 2023.
