Cornet by Adolphe Sax

This cornet looks more common than it is. It was made by Adolphe Sax, well-known inventor of the saxo- phone and the saxhorn family. As was common in France at the time, the bell is placed to the right of the valve section (as seen by the player), an arrangement known as modèle français.
