The Fermi surface has been mapped completely revealing previously unobserved “shadow bands” interpreted as due to antiferromagnetic correlations. Since Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 + x exhibits a relatively complicated incommensurate lattice modulation new measurements on a Pb-doped, unmodulated Bi-cuprate are presented for comparison.enComplete Fermi surface mapping of Bi-cuprates-article
