The study examined the extent to which acquired communicative competencies can later be used in everyday work life, and how they develop after graduation (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). During their program, students critically examined their own communication. After graduation, their focus was on gaining security in their role and on self-assertion in an interprofessional context. A further development of communicative competencies was experienced. This development related to the students‘ capabilities in relation to self-reflection and the perception of the professional environment, as well as the implicit use of communicative techniques.
