Intersektionalität, Partizipation und Politiken des Digitalen: Ein Forschungsstand zur "Matrix of Domination 2.0"

Der Beitrag nutzt das Konzept der Matrix of Domination 2.0 um das Forschungsfeld der Politiken des Digitalen aus intersektional-feministischer Perspektive systematisch zu erfassen. Zwei zentrale Analyseeinheiten werden herausgestellt: erstens die Ebene der Nutzer*innen und Inhalte und zweitens die Ebene der Kommunikationsinfrastruktur, des Plattformdesigns und Affordances – und damit jene politischen und ökonomischen Rahmenbedingungen, unter denen digitale Räume entstehen, kontrolliert und organisiert werden.

The contribution uses the concept of the Matrix of Domination 2.0 to systematically capture the research field of the politics of the digital from an intersectional-feminist perspective. Two central units of analysis are highlighted: first, the level of users and content; and second, the level of communication infrastructure, platform design, and affordances – and thus those political and economic framework conditions under which digital spaces emerge, are controlled, and organized.
