Abstract
Conservator and art historian Hanna B. Hölling , professor at the Academy of Arts at the University of Applied Sciences in Bern and one of the main international experts in the preservation of contemporary conceptual art, will be in Brazil in October and will participate in two initiatives at the University of Brasília promoted by the Art Musealization Research Group: Poetics in Narratives (mARTE Group).
On October 16th (Monday), at 7pm, she will present the lecture Conserving and Curating Mutability in the auditorium of the Faculty of Information Science, next to the university's Central Library. //Lecture annoucemen//

On this occasion, Hanna B. Hölling will analyze how art produced since the late 1960s, in categories such as happenings, performance, Fluxus activities, video and experimental film, questions the conservation of art based on artistic objects that remained practically unchanged and they were often subject to singular interpretations. Entry is free and limited to room capacity. The lecture will be in English with consecutive translation.
