What Does it Mean to Conserve Performance? Two Day Workshop

On October 16th and 17th (Monday and Tuesday), from 2pm to 6pm, Hanna B. Hölling will share with Prof. Cayo Honorato, coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts at the University of Brasília, the workshop Continuity, Musealization and Conservation of Mutable Contemporary Works . The course, which will be worth 1 credit, is now available for registration by master's and doctoral students at the university (Seminar of Art, Image and Culture, Code 329061). The meetings will be at the Postgraduate Course of the Institute of Social Sciences. The workshop will be in English with consecutive translation.
The workshop will feature the participation of Grupo TresPe , a performance collective from Brasília/DF. The group will present the work C ala boca Já Mora… (2011), which will later be debated considering the possibilities of documentation, institutionalization and activation of the work.
In addition to the two opportunities in partnership with the mARTE Group, on October 11th, Hanna Hölling will give the opening conference of the VII Congress of the National Association of Dance Researchers – ANDA, at the Federal Institute of Brasília.
