Abstract
In this paper, high voltage pulse parameters required for electric weed control are analyzed using current and direct resistance measurement data. In order to do this, prototype of electric weed treatment system is built with maximum voltage/energy of 30kV/4.5J and pulse rate of 1 pulse/s. Measurement data are obtained during treatment of typical European weed plants in the range of voltage/energy levels. Current waveform features that correlate with treatment efficiency are presented. Weed resistance recovery phenomenon is also shown and discussed.
