Catalogue of Damage Terminology for Works of Art and Cultural Property Paper

This bilingual publication presents a catalogue of damage terminology, typical for paper-based materials, in a handy fan-leaved design. Each term is defined and well illustrated. An international team of experts participated in the definition process. This publication is a useful manual for conservators and restorers, but can also be used as a reference guide and teaching aid. The catalogue will also help to establish a common vocabulary to document works of art and cultural objects, particularly for international loans and correspondence.
