Die Schweizer Aquakulturbranche ist ein kleiner Erwerbszweig innerhalb des primären Sektors, allerdings mit Wachstumschancen. Hierzu braucht es aber vermehrte Unterstützung durch die angewandte Forschung, die dezentral an Lösungsansätzen arbeiten will.
