Digitalisation is creating numerous new research perspectives in the arts. Important starting points are the digital representation of objects and actions and their artificial simulation. Both are related to artistic practices, and the resulting research will be able to penetrate the essence of things more deeply, the more it makes use of the inseparable duality of the real world and the world of data.
